Imprintfor Senaryon, an online service provided by planpolitik GbR
As of: June 2026
Senaryon is operated by planpolitik GbR, Friedelstraße 16, D-12047 Berlin (hereinafter "Operator"). These Terms of Use govern the rights and obligations between the Operator and the users of Senaryon (hereinafter "Users"). By registering, the User accepts these terms and conditions as binding.
Senaryon is a closed online platform for simulation games and other educational formats. The Operator provides the platform on behalf of educational institutions or similar organisations (hereinafter "Clients"). Registered Users may interact with one another within the scope of their respective game roles, post content and participate in moderated discussion processes. Senaryon is designed for use on desktop devices as well as on mobile devices and tablets.
The Operator generally does not influence the content of Users' posts. The Operator or the Client may moderate communication to ensure an orderly and purposeful process.
Active use of Senaryon generally requires registration. To do so, the User provides an email address and a password. A name and a profile photo may be added optionally. The user agreement comes into effect upon completion of registration.
As a rule, only natural persons who are duly participating in an event organised by the Client are entitled to register. There is no legal entitlement to registration. The Operator may, in consultation with the Client, refuse registrations without giving reasons.
The login details are intended solely for personal use and must not be disclosed to third parties. The User is obliged to keep their login details confidential. For security reasons, it is recommended that the password generated during registration be changed immediately.
If the User becomes aware of any misuse of their login details or suspects such misuse, they must notify the Operator immediately. The User is liable for any damage resulting from unauthorised use by a third party, insofar as they have negligently allowed this to occur. Liability ceases upon notification to the Operator and the change of the password.
The Operator is entitled to temporarily or permanently block a User's access in the event of breaches of these Terms of Use. In the event of a permanent block, the User may not re-register without the Operator's express consent.
The user agreement shall apply for the duration of the Client's respective event. Both parties reserve the right to terminate the agreement extraordinarily for good cause. Good cause on the part of the Operator shall be deemed to exist in particular if the User repeatedly and culpably breaches the rules of conduct set out in clause 7.
If the User uploads content (texts, images, posts, etc.) to Senaryon, they grant the Operator and the Client a non-exclusive right of use limited in time and scope to the purpose of operating the platform and documenting the respective event. This includes, in particular, the right to store the content on the Operator's servers, to make it available for retrieval within the platform and to use it for the documentation of the event.
The grant of rights ends upon the deletion of the relevant content or the anonymisation of the User, unless further storage is necessary for the documentation of the event and is in accordance with data protection regulations, in particular the right to erasure pursuant to Article 17 of the GDPR. In all other respects, the provisions of the privacy policy apply.
The Operator reserves the right to delete content after the termination of the contract without giving reasons. The User has no entitlement to the availability of specific content after the end of the contract.
The User undertakes to treat other Users with respect. In particular, the following actions and content are prohibited:
Content provided by the Operator or the Client on the platform (e.g. texts, materials, images) is protected by copyright or related rights. The User may use this content exclusively for personal use within the scope of the event. Any reproduction, publication or disclosure to third parties beyond personal use requires the prior written consent of the Operator.
The User warrants that the content they post does not infringe the rights of third parties and complies with the requirements of clause 8. They are solely responsible for their content and actions on the platform.
If a third party makes a claim against the Operator due to a culpable breach by the User of the obligations set out in clauses 7 or 8, the User shall indemnify the Operator against such claims to the extent that the User is responsible for the breach. The Operator shall inform the User immediately of any such claim and give the User the opportunity to comment.
The Operator shall be liable in accordance with the statutory provisions. Liability for data loss which the User could have avoided by carrying out regular data backups is excluded. The Operator shall only be liable for damage caused by slight negligence if essential contractual obligations are breached or if life, limb or health are affected.
The Operator is entitled to delete content that breaches these Terms of Use, to issue warnings to affected Users, and to temporarily or permanently block their access. Warnings and suspensions shall be communicated to the affected User in writing without delay.
The Operator attaches great importance to the protection of personal data. All information regarding data processing can be found in the privacy policy at www.games.senaryon.de.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. For consumers, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of habitual residence also apply, insofar as these offer greater protection. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for merchants and legal entities under public law is Berlin.
Should any individual provisions of these Terms of Use be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provisions shall be replaced by the statutory provisions.
